I was born in Saskatchewan and raised in Alberta. I pretty much consider myself an Alberta girl. My dad is well known horse trainer Les Timmons so growing up we always had dogs around to help move cows around mostly we had Border Collies but there was also a couple of Kelpies around as well. Dogs have always been an important part of my life in the last ten years or so they have played a major role in my life's direction. I started with agility and moved on to herding from there.
My husband , our son and I currently live on 110 acres east of Okotoks, Alberta. I have a small flock of katahdins and we also have a small herd of purebred Lowline cattle. My kennel consist of three Border Collies, one Border Collie cross and our token little dog is a JRT. To date I have not bred any litters but I do plan to in the future.
I have a special love for the merle Border Collie but I don't believe in buying a dog just for it's color. All of my merles have been bred to be strong working dogs. I also believe that a Border Collie is more than just a dog and a person should consider this seriously if they are considering one for a pet.
